Antler Art . . . from raw moose antler to finished jewelry!

Moose antler is gathered as it is shed in the spring of each year. The antler is cut to the correct thickness on a bandsaw. Color imperfections are bleached white and dried. Then a pattern is stamped on the antler slice and it is cut to shape. After the jewelry has been sanded and shaped it is ready to be hand painted. Up to three coats of resin are applied to the painted piece to finish the piece.
